Re: Getting from NYC to Borgata without a car
Some years ago, I had an experience that I took a bus with fare $20 from Port Authority to AC. Depending which casino the bus goes to, the destination casino reimburse the $20 already paid atPort Authority to casino's chip. However, the casino did not know that I cashed the chip without consuming at the casino. Therefore it was a free bus to AC.
At the most casino you arrived at, there is a small shared van called "Jitney" at a walking distance from the destination casino. The bus charged $2 for one way. Ask the driver for Borgata. So the total round trip fare was $4 between NYC and Borgata. Also there might be same free bus to Foxwood too. |

Re: Getting from NYC to Borgata without a car
My buddy and I are taking a 6:15pm bus from Chinatown to Caesars tonight. We pay $15 round-trip. (It's $20 RT w/o a Caesars card.) Upon arrival, we'll receive $25 in cash. No need to enter casino. With the $10 we each made, it pays for the cab rides to and from the Borgata - for the midnite tourney we're both going to play in.
Daily bus schedule... ...from Chinatown to AC (Division St./Bowery St.): 9:30am, 11:30am, 12:30pm, 3:00pm, 6:15pm, 8:30pm, 11:15pm ...from AC to Chinatown: 6:45am, 12:00pm, 5:00pm, 7:00pm, 8:30pm, 11:00 pm, 4:45am (Sat/Sun only) We're both bringing our Ipods as a bus-full of Chinese does tend to get noisy.
