Re: Over / Under on How much a player could make playing a 1/3nl for 1
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] A very good player would be able to make about 4 Big Blinds per hour for forty hours. 12x40= 480. I can honestly say that I used to play in 1/3 game at 4 Big Blinds per hour. A typical winner probably makes 2 or 3. At 3 big blinds per hour: 320 At 2 big blinds per hour: 240 I give the total over/under at about 300/ week at a 40 to 50 hour week. [/ QUOTE ] Funny, I can beat 5/10 NL for 10 big blinds/hour. And I can beat 2/5 NL for like 15 big blinds/hour. [/ QUOTE ] Funny, you're an idiot who plays live that has no concept of variance or long-term. Those winrates are unsustainable. A world-class player (in a moderately juicy game) theoretically caps off at 10bb/100 online in 6-max where there is a lot more room for equity advantages, and skill. So considering you get in 33 hands per hour live, your claiming that your winrate would be that of 20+bb/100 or 40 big blinds per 100 hands. I play live, and I'm probably better than you, and no you do not make 40blinds/100. The swings live are for a far greater period of time, downswings and upswings alike can last months and can give a disproportionate view of win-rate. |
