RBI '94 was a great game. Homerun derby, spitballs, and all that. They had some feature where you got put in different game situations and had to do something specific. Good stuff.

Both NBA Jams.

I never had a SNES so I played NBA Jam on Genesis. One of the greatest games ever. BOOMSHAKALAKA!!

It is sad how many of you are saying arcade games that were turned into console games. MK doesn't belong in this discussion. It belongs in the Arcade Canon for sure, but it is a non event in the discussion of the Genesis. Same goes for NBA jam and many others.

Flashback. Yeah it came out for other sysetems, but it was originally a genesis games. One of the best platformers ever.

I could be wrong about this, but I think Joe Montana sports talk football was the first game to have announcers.

A friend and I used to play it all the time and we would run the fake punt every play for huge gains against the CPU and the announcer would always say, "its first down and I can't believe it..." always dumbfounded that we were going to punt on first down when we'd run the play over and over.
