Day 2 is now over and it was a lot easier than day 1. Despite being abruptly woken up and chased out by house keeping, the first 4 hours went by in the blink of an eye, in part because Indiana countryside is nice to look at. Then everything after dinner started to drag on, but whatever. Believe it or not, I found an even shadier motel than the one I stayed at last night. There is ONE car parked in front, probably owned by the scary looking owner who lives with his mothers skeleton down the road. I get about 7 channels here and NONE of them have anything interesting on. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom, their credit card machine was broken and the owner didn't have enough change to give me. Told me to come back and get it in the morning... lol.

When I stopped in Illinois to eat dinner the place was just called "restaurant" and had birds nests sticking out of half of the letters. It was filled with ridiculously obese people, all of whom stared at me like they had never seen someone wearing wind breakers before. I ordered the "butt steak" because I couldn't get over the fact that it was on the menu.

I passed by a few casinos on the way and had to struggle with all my might to not stop and check them out. For all I know they didn't even have poker anyway and why would I want to stop at some dinky casino when I am on my way to the motherland.
