I was really surprised at how persuasive Annie Duke was. Unfortunately I was not at all surprised at just how ineffective and inarticulate PPA guy was.

Just watched it. Great job Annie and Mike. The other guy is a bit of a dolt.

Sad day for Americans.

I've never been a big Anne Duke supporter, but she gave a great interview. Kudos to her and Mike for a great interview.

How did they choose the head of the PPA? Perhaps a lottery?

I have read many many complaints about him being inarticulate. He just stumbles in his speech alot and doesn't seem to be able to make sharp, to the point comments, which in this "sound bite" day and age you need.

I wonder if he actually plays poker.

one of the reasons Duke and Sexton sound articulate is they have confidence in the subject, they know poker inside and out and aren't easily flustered.

We need the more likeable, well known pros up front on this issue (Brunson, Raymer, Hachem, Harmon, Lederer, etc.)

my guess...he came up with the "monster" idea for party. So then they made him the president of the ppa, as a thank you for doing such a good idea

I just watched that online, and we came off looking really, really good. Annie Duke really did a great a job. She'd be the first one on my list to appear in front of any court.

All,

Harman should sit this out. "I never lose, if anyone plays long enough with them, I win." Her attitude won't be helpful.
