Re: 200NL- KK against monster fish, play along with me
I really don't think we have to worry about hands that beat us as the only ones that would call a shove. He'll convince himself that like 89 is good or something. I shove.

Re: 200NL- KK against monster fish, play along with me
55 on this flop is so perfect it's ridiculous. I don't really think anything folds to 55 that doesn't fold to 42, and it sets up perfect stacks.

[ QUOTE ] call, call river bet if he checks river, shove [/ QUOTE ] [/ QUOTE ] The pot is 1.1 buyins. Name ONE hand that isn't complete air that the fish folds if we shove. Just ONE. Calling here is silly. What if he c/folds his 79 on a blank river? |

Re: 200NL- KK against monster fish, play along with me
am i wrong to think fishdonk has a six here more than anything else? im mean the ratio of possible 6s to straight draws must be like 3-1 at least. take in a nine we may have a 3-1-5 ratio. the question is, how does his play change those relations, i cant believe he has a nine here often. straight draws are possible but i think unlikely to play like this. there is a slight chance for a slowplayed overpair though. i think you are behind here. he seems to be using the strategy i had at play money: make sure you get a small part of your money in on every street and dont raise with the good hands.
fold is probably best, but in reality i d probably just shove over. calling is bad i think if we plan to call a river bet anyway. |

Re: 200NL- KK against monster fish, play along with me
Well I had an Fgators like 6th sense about this hand and I've been running terrible the last 30+ days so I expected him to have an A or a 6 everytime here. I would have shoved the turn if any card other than an A showed up. But I agree a shove is probably best on the turn even w/ the A coming up.
