meh, from turn check, i think to villain, hero's hand looks more like 78 or 56.

1) If this is true then checking the turn is much better than betting it
2) If I am villain and put you on this range why would I bet unless I had exactly 78?

"well he stacked off with TPNk for 100 bb"

I think it is reasonable for him to stack off with TP given his image.

To those saying he could be floating QJ etc, seems unlikely he leads full pot with air into 5 players on flop, calls a raise and overbet shoves river.

Please convince me otherwise, enjoying the discussion so far.

So what are you, the op, putting the villian on. AA or KK? That's it. I can't be a bluff. Why did you post this then, if your so convinced it must be a set. Obviously it ended up being AA or KK and you played your hand pretty badly. Or you mucked b/c your convinced and still convinced it's AA or KK.

The point of the QJ was saying it was probally improbable that he would float with QJ not that he would do it. Couldn't this also be AK that floated or A10?

I guess flop c/r was really strong but I'm confused on what villian has. Either OP is putting villian squarely on a higher set on the flop or he believes that the villian has AA or KK. He also states villian is lag but not an idiot. I guess you want us to say FOLD, so fold.

I generally agree, but a flop *min* raise always sends off alarm bells, especially in a five-way pot where everyone else is left to act.

I know everyone and their mother seems to be saying you should snap call, but my gut says to fold. From villain's perspective, the flop min raise either represents air or a strong hand. If villain had air and put you on air, he would likely bluff a smaller amount as it would accomplish the same goal. If villain has a set of tens or better, then he's better off making a big bet since in this situation any hand that calls a medium bet will also call a big bet.

(At some point, if you have results, I'd be interested - but post them only when there has been enough discussion, or feel free to PM them.)
