I just assumed that his talk about smothering a 40$ well-done steak meant that his perception of the perfect steak was 40$ and well done. Therefore pouring A1 onto that steak ruined it.

Except, I like my steak medium-well. (i like a little char)

and i hate when people tell me its "wrong" to eat it that way.

I think raw and burnt are prolly closer to "wrong".

I hate being stuck in [censored] school, I haven't had a 40 dollar steak in so long. All we have is an outback, which is alright, but yea. For those of you who have not had a balla steak, worth the money every time.

very rare if a filet. I like it to moo at me. If a bone-in ribeye you have to go Med rare though otherwise its raw near the bone.
