i think its interesting to note that you might not be able to get all in on the flop way ahead, but you might be called on the turn as a decent favorite by a pair + OE

i think this is what kane's getting at

FWIW this 'felt' right for some reason.

With 120BB to start I am calling the flop and likely raising a safe turn allin.

thnx for the ninjabump whoever did that...

anyways. I played a battle of the blinds hand that reminds me of this.

5/10 on party, 110bb stacks. folded to sb who limps, I raise with 67 hearts to 40, he calls.

Flop comes 67A all spades. He checks, I bet 65, he raises to 200. Call or push in this spot? This seems like a call a bit moreso than the hand above because we have position right?

I'm curious if people advocate the same play for OP's hand with top two? what about a set? and lastly 67 for the bottom straight? Are we probably getting it in with the sets and waiting for a safe turn with the (harder to improve against the big-draw elements of villain's range) hands?

Call and stick it in on safe turn where ur equity changes drastically. Here, if you shove, you also fold out a lot of Tx hands, where as on the turn Tx often bets to protect vs draws on a blank turn. It's SUCH high variance to shove flop. Very nice post.

i faced this situation earlier this month i think in a limped pot when the flop came two to a flush A-5-7. i bet, got raised, i re-raised, we got it in.

i think your example is tougher b/c of the board, but generally speaking i think it's best to shove and get it in on the flop and expect to be a small favorite most of the time, but w/ a lot of variance.

Depending on how much bluffing the opp is doing I either call and stick it in on a safe turn or just call and fold to a big bet on any turn.
