I belonged to both for a long time and I let my Stox membership go a few months ago because I didn't feel like I was getting that much out of the site. There was maybe one video a month that I would watch where on CR there is at least one a week that I watch. Stox has brought on new partners, so perhaps they are producing more videos since I left.

I think both are useful, but I have to give the nod to CR.

To answer both questions, in the last couple months we have made seven additions to the video staff (1 LHE guy, 2 NL guys, 2 MTT guys and 2SNG guys) and are now releasing upwards of 4 videos a week (to give you an idea: to pad the library with some of our new MTT and SNG stuff we've actually released 12 videos this past week).

One thing we're really wanting to do at StoxPoker is buck the image of the old site. The old site was a hobby project of Nick's which he maintained himself. The new one is an entirely different animal.

BRYCE V. TAYLOR, WHO WILL SURVIVE

fwiw, i have sub.'s for both and they're just different sites. i wouldn't say one > the other, they're both good for different things.

i was thinking about joining CR but dont really have the money to pay for gold membership yet. For silver from what i gather you have to pay for the videos you want to watch? how much is it per video?

Still deciding, but nice timing on the thread as I was planning on arranging a sub to one of them this week.

Are videos on either site downloadable? I like to watch this type of vid (2+2 vids so far) while traveling and it would be huge if they were.
