Re: Jukebox Warfare
a problem i run into at a particular bar in my town is m.fers putting anywhere from $5-$20 in an older model jukebox minus the "play next" option. then having to hear 20+ songs before i hear my selections, if at all. there is no way of knowing that i am wasting my time selecting a playlist. thus i no longer plug monies into that machine.
also, i've been to this bar close to 50 times over the last few years and more than 80% of the time i hear incubus, normaly megalomaniac (sp?) |

Just wanted to give props to the OP. This is the best thread I've read in awhile. Everyone was spot on, and I have been laughing for the last ten minutes. I have a question for any of the more serious Juke Boxers, what is the ruling on Wish You Were Here by Floyd? Great song, but how about for a night out? Great Good Ok Lame I'm honestly curious. I've played that song a few times and got some mixed reactions. PS- Hall and Oates? [/ QUOTE ] WYWH great song, but too mellow for crowded bar. Big, BIG fan of H&O. |

"You Make My Dreams", also. [/ QUOTE ] Prob my favorite H&O song. Has a super intro, and will get feet tapping. |
