Def fold turn to this villian, he does not skrew around often enough for this to be profitable.

[/ QUOTE ]

I thought this except for river for the same reason (turn is must call imo).

But I also think this:

[ QUOTE ]
hey josh, you played this hand well. Unless he is really bad just calling the turn is best. I would instacall river but not love it. Def gotta call tho.

[/ QUOTE ]

W/e he shows up w/ here that beats you is basically a cooler. He's not dumb and knows he can take advantage of his image especially in bvb situations. His bluff % goes up but by how much I'm not sure.

He almost definitely has a 9 (T9/A9) and knows you have one and is not expecting you to fold, after you called his flop raise and his turn bet. I'd fold pretty quick, unless you know that he knows you can fold a weak 9 there.

judging from the number of people advocating a turn crai, it seems most people would never have a 9 by the river. so i don't think he can and should put me on a 9 very often. more often than not, i will have an overpair or jack, or maybe a big combo draw.

its really hard to fold here... you cant play passively and then get away from big hands against aggressive regulars

he could be value shoving AJ or better here, and bluffing with all kinds of draws. I dont think he raises flop with a draw he is not checking behind on the turn with it.

so its gotta be a call, just it kinda sucks

I fold... I don't think he's 3-barreling too often and I don't think he's value shoving a worse hand very often, either (maybe 98s-96s).

i call very very quickly. your hand looks like a jack at best. i love your line and play it the same very frequently against this type with this board. there's a fairly significant chance of him valuebetting the worst hand, as well as the chance of you bluffing.

stop being such a nit. you played it well to induce his bluffs and he'll never put you on a 9 so you have to call.

[/ QUOTE ]

you really cant "slowplay" and fold. its just counter intuitive.

Looks like ezy muck for me.
I dont believe in deep reasoning in poker so here is my explanation :
Most villains at MSNL are pussies when it comes to play for 200BB. He is almost surely valuebetting and he wouldnt do that with overpair (cause hes probably a pussy). You are not winning it 33% of the time vs valuebetting range of typical 2/4 opponent.
MUCK.
