His biggest strength as a player is getting basically getting bad players to put in alot of chips when they are in really bad shape in a hand.
In big tournaments that's quite a useful skill to have considering what % of the field are terrible players. |

he accumulates chips from other players participatin in the tourney by beating them in hands. he either does this by makin them fold or having the best ranked hand after all community cards have been dealt. he keeps doing this until all players have been eliminated from the tourney and he has accumulated all the chips.

High stakes poker cannot be taken that seriously because the stakes they play are not the one they usually play in Vegas. And Hellmuth is a tournament player. And yes I gotta say you don't have as many good players sitting at the same table at the WSOP.
