Re: FTOPS #1 - When do I become a believer?
[ QUOTE ]
No horrible fate - simply a raise to like 800 which he would do w/ ATC which leaves me folding 300 chips poorer than C/F or playing an even more bloated pot OOP w/ a marginal hand and no real plan. [/ QUOTE ] New plan based on this new info, bet/call flop! On a more serious note, betting this flop is very bad (though not because he'll raise any 2...) Also, agree with nath that there is nothing wrong with folding this flop. Steve |

I just fold the flop a lot. I mean, what's the point? [/ QUOTE ] I hesitated to say I would just fold the flop until I saw nath saying it, thx for making me not feel weak-tight. |

Re: FTOPS #1 - When do I become a believer?
I probably fold on the flop. Check/calling 2 streets to fold on the river with 2 unscary cards on turn and river is bad. Maybe raise or fold flop IMO to get info.
The way the hand was played i think i make the call on the river, Your play seems weak and its definitely possible he is firing a 3rd shell |

[ QUOTE ] On a more serious note, betting this flop is very bad [/ QUOTE ] why? [/ QUOTE ] Because it accomplishes nothing? I mean I'm sure it's better than open folding but really don't see how it can be better than checking. |
