My take is that I think online poker is a purer meritocracy than "real world" poker, where the top guys' bankrolls are padded by huge endorsement deals. Plus, a lot of the top guys made huge scores in tournaments like the WSOP where, as Jamie Gold showed, luck plays a huge role. [/ QUOTE ] Umm no, Jamie Gold won the biggest tournament ever because he's the best player ever. Isn't this obvious? |
