fsu,

You didn't say whether you have given them a warning, which I think you should first even though they don't deserve it. But the solution to this problem is to announce that if you ban any account, you will also ask Cola to check if it can be determined one of those accounts is a gimmick account of a regular poster, and then suspend that poster's regular account for 30 days as well.

Also I would favor a policy of suspending a poster for a time who in a month's time posts over a certain limit of "me too" type posts where they just state what action they would take without explaining the reasoning behind it. The purpose of these forums is for all of to learn and become better players, and someone who is constantly just echoing the one word "call/fold/raise" line of others without explaining the rationale behind same really isn't contributing much.

Ban me if you must... I know some people are creating accounts to specifically vote yes to my banning. That's ok though, the less time I spend here the more time I can spend DLing massive amounts of porn with horribly obscene titles... and that's never a bad thing. (unless your girlfriend finds and opens your porn folder... akward)

Well just saying "fold" or "call" or "push" doesn't help them do that. Explaining the principles involved in the analysis of a particular situtation and why certain ones take precedence does.

Hey FSU,

Thanks for taking your job as mod seriously; you're doing a great job.

I voted No to both bannings, though both posters' stuff so far is annoying and interfering with people viewing the quality posts. Still, I don't believe either is a troll (so my hat's off to swings if he indeed is one, and then I take a dump in that hat and place it on his head); trolls/spammers/those who make physical threats or use lots of slurs are the only folks I ever want to see banned.

I think T4P is just trying too hard. I think he is a good guy that just has to learn what is appropriate. Not that I really know since im basically a partimer here at best. I say dont ban him, he will catch on to how it works here and be a valued member I predict.

The problem with this is that in the meantime he's basically taking over the forum with his noob ways. I'm not saying he's hopeless, but his presence on the forum is doing more harm than good and distracting people from actual hands, so it's probably best to keep him away
