well it depends on your attitude. if you want the maximize your profit and dont mind which method to use, you should ask for 50% of the profit and move straight to the highest available limit. then you either bust or double up.
if you dont want to scam him, you should refuse as you dont need bankroll support.

i don't see many good outcomes for you with this deal. if anything, take a smaller amount and allow him to stake you for 2/4

urban... not trying to flame you here this is serious and sound advice. If you can't take the beats at 200NL, how are you going to take them at 2k NL? I've also played a few hundred hands vs you on FTP and I must say I don't think you are ready to move up. I would seriously keep where you are at until you are slightly better and more comfortable moving up. GL though.
