negreanu's biggest leak is his golf game b/c he is not consistant at it in the least and loses a ton in it

as for his poker br...accordin to his stats he was up at like 1.6 mill before the 1million dollar loss....so my guess is he still has a at least another 1-1.5 million left but doesnt wanna risk it all in one session

Wow. This is idiotic. You can't compare NL and Limit. This is like being down 25k at 100/200, it might not be a ton but if done in 1 night especially live, it will definitely hurt. It's not like he was 5 tabling online. He was 1 tabling probally for 10 hours or so live (200-300 hands) so losing like 3.3k a hand or ~-.4bb/hand is not going to feel too good.

Most of the players in that game are millionaires but have the majority of their $ invested in other business ventures such as their houses, other properties, stocks etc. These guys are gamblers they don't worry as much as you or I about getting broke (not being broke). Negreanu said in the past on average the players at the table usually have about 600-800k for a playing bankroll. Not total net worth, just their playing bankroll. Also I would admit playing 10-25k a hole in golf against guys like Doyle n [censored] is ridiculous and who knows how much he's lost. He's never actually said but in his video blogs I haven't heard him say that he's won to much so it's fair to say he is down in the golf games. Since the start of the WSOP he's played twice in the big game for a win of +462k and a loss of over a million. So he's down in that game say maybe -800k out of his BR? Then he's walked away with about 300k since the WSOP. So maybe -500k out of his BR just from poker .... that golf must have taken a serious bite out of his BR.

I am also surprised that Daniel's walking away from the big game. Well, I'm surprised he's admitting it publicly, because I thought his ego was too big for that. I would guess that his fiscal responsibility comes from being married. His wife doesn't seem like the type who would take to the degenerate gambler, up and down lifestyle.

I doubt many pros at all are bankrolled for the $4k/8k game especially with the requirements many online players keep. This really isn't a huge surprise.
