I registered last night and played for 3 hours, a bit of 3/6 then 2-tabling $50NL and a bit of $200NL, ending up $150 to the good.

I found the play generally poor, although the 3/6 was too tight to hold my interest. Nothing about the players or the cards made me suspicious. Had chat on, but wasn't in a chatty mood, so I didn't respond when people spoke. I also found the chat font tiny and inconspicuous, pretty unnoticeable when multi-tabling, so I probably missed many chat comments.

I lost $1,200 yesterday....... but I was donking it up hardcore at points. Generally I have to get comfortable with a new site before I stop treating it like play money.... (at least Ill get $228 of the lost money back)

Hope they add bigger NL games too, that also helps me not play like a donkey

Am I the only one disturbed by the fact that you will suspect a poker site of cheating and refuse to play there because of a few hours of a bad downswing?

[ QUOTE ]
I'm very surprised people are describing the games as having LAGs as the games I played (small sample) resembled a family style of play NOT Mainiacs.

[/ QUOTE ]

20/40 was very LAG, also 10/20 was more LAG than usual. Both our sample sizes suck though. But what is clear is that you i.e. have some players who will always go to showdown with pocket pairs, you have some who almost never continuation bet, some who will 3-bet turn with a gutshot etc. I think the game just hasn't matured and gotten into the patterns it has on i.e. Party and Stars.

Lol,

i'm pretty sure that after that E-mail Kurosh is convinced that the site is not using bots, and will return.

Thank you for clearing this up for all of us.

Suckouts at Stars happen mostly on the river, sometimes the turn. If you get in with a 40% hand and hit on the flop, the other hand will almost always hit by the river.

However, if you cover the table with another window, or look away from the screen, it cuts down on the problem dramatically.

Also, if you write support after a downswing and ask them to turn off your doomswitch, they'll usually look after you.
