man you just need to find a good stock. Longing ESV is the only good one I can find right now. Shorting AMZN is not a bad plan either right now.

raptor, read a bit of the intelligent ivestor. You probably just fall into the natural instinctual trap everybody does of buying after things have had a huge run and panic selling after things already dropped a [censored]. Both are irrational yet totally evolutionary feelings.

ive always tried to do the opposite. ive read the intelligent investor. i also sell too soon i think, i picked up fslr at like 34 bucks a share but sold it at like 90. so far the only pretty successful stock ive picked up. within a week after selling it was up over 130. i was /endlifing.

Anyone know a good way to scan lots of companies quarterly summaries rapidly. In particular I'm looking for companies that miss quarterly guidance/consensus.

Thanks,

Krishan

I use stockscreeners but have never seen one that can discern analyst estimates vs actual earnings. That doesn't mean one doesn't exist though. They will screen many other factors. Two good free ones are here and here.

Any ideas on how to invest in the UAE. I have tried googling but didn't come up with much. Preferably an index type fund. Country seems to not get much attention but is growing fast. Any ideas or thoughts?
