Re: Best Vegas Daily MTT\'s ?
I'm going to be in Vegas next Tuesday and Wednesday and want to play in a couple of MTTs. Based on this thread, it sounds like Caesar's, Wynn, and Venetian are all good choices for a noon tournament in terms of structure. I'm wondering if anyone has played in these lately and can tell me how many players to expect?

Re: Best Vegas Daily MTT\'s ?
I played the Ceasers nooner on Friday. I think there were 110 or 130 runners. The competition was soft and the players were friendly. I highly recommend it.

[/ QUOTE ] I played this tourney in July and liked it as well. Assuming you take the rebuy right away you get a fair number of chips to start. The blinds double every level, though and antes start pretty quick and go up fast as well so take that into consideration. |

Re: Best Vegas Daily MTT\'s ?
Thanks for the info on the Caesar's tournament. Anyone know how many they are getting for the Wynn $330 on Tu/Wed or the Venetian $125?

Re: Best Vegas Daily MTT\'s ?
FWIW...played three times at the wynn during this past summers WSOP. the weekday 300 and the friday 500 had between 125 and 155 runners. i asked a few dealers and floor personnel what the usual (not wsop time) number of players was, and they all seemed to think 75 to 90. maybe this helps.

Re: Best Vegas Daily MTT\'s ?
Today's Caesars noon tourney had 7 tables (9 per table, full or almost full). Since I'm posting this at 5:30pm, I obviously didn't money today (AK vs KK no good). Last one I did last week had 8 tables.
Folks have been complaining lately about the size of the Wynn tourney being down. I ran into a couple of the Wynn regulars last week who said they'd given up on Wynn because they hadn't gotten more than 4 tables lately. I haven't tried a Wynn tourney in a couple months so can't comment personally on size. Also haven't done Venetian noon events. Last couple 8pm events I did there were 4 tables and 3 tables. Someone today said last Saturday the $550 event had 80 players (WPT is in town so it may be higher than normal...dunno). Sahara 7pm tourneys usually get >100 players. 11pm will have more like 70-90. |

Thanks. This is quite helpful. I was really looking forward to playing in one of the Wynn tournaments, but 3 tables doesn't excite me too much.

Re: Best Vegas Daily MTT\'s ?
I played in the Venetian noon about a month ago. There were 40 players IIRC.
