There's a very good chance I'm a losing player, but I'm gonna stick with it another few years just to make 100% sure.

What get's me is how some people here claim that winning is as simple as reading a book or two. There are all kinds of reasons why that's not true. And also the game is getting more difficult as more people learn how to play.

A poster earlier makes a good point. The serious losers probably don't stick it out unless they are very well off or pathetically hooked. Most of these type of players probably are not hanging out at 2+2. There are probably a large chunk of people here that slightly lose or only win because of rakeback and bonuses. Then of course there are many of us that have played for years and never looked back.

FWIW I lost several deposits before ever cashing out. Finding a prop job and hitting a massive BBJ at that prop job were the only reasons I was able to hang on long enough to learn.

QFT. More seriously Pocket Fives though. People cash big in donkaments, and take it to cash games. Then GG.

I was a loosing player for about 2 years, however that was when bonus whoring was very good, therefor I made about $25,000 over those 2 years.

Now that the "Unlawful screw Americans of their rights" act has passed I was forced to stop playing 6 tables for bonus and work on my game.

I have since became a steady Sit and Go winner and am moving up in limits.
