crai isnt so much of an overbet when we make a normal c-bet on the flop and villain makes a decent-sized bet on the turn

Sure if he makes it 8 preflop and pots the flop then it opens different doors. But he didn't.

good god this thread is tilting me

if he is floating, then a turn bet will get him to fold, just as a C/R would but is less risky. Opponents betting this turn have either pure air or a hand they aren't folding to a c/r.

You think villain can't have A2s without diamonds and bet it for value + fold to the raise? I don't know do they fold AJ but it should be at least close too. And if villain usually raises sets and 3bets AQ... Which hands they can really bet/call?

the point is if they decide to bet its with a hand they aren't folding, unless its pure air, which is what you fold out by betting. poker is easy.

22/16/2.5 I hope he can bet with less than A9, otherwise we would be able to make profitable calldowns with Q high...
