tags don't ch r bluff the river enough to call. He played his set passively on turn and this doesn't mean that you have to pay him off on the river

This is a ridiculous spot because I really can't put him on even a single hand besides all air combos and T9 and yet I don't think we can call, or fold. If there were unlimited timers on Full Tilt mine would still be running.
Oh, and this is a fine bet amount on the river. |

10 10 or 99 here for sure. He plays it this way because if he ever leads it looks way too strong. I vote for a fold (but I would call since I'm a station). lol.

[ QUOTE ]
wow take three barrel bluffing out of your potential lines versus this guy. odd hand [/ QUOTE ] I think the oposite, he is only confident that he can check raise the river if he thinks you are betting it. His thinking is if you bet the turn you bet the river, so he went for the check-raise, which agains't an overpair on this board is an optimal line imo. But he can only do it if he is fairly confident that you are going to bet the river (in his eyes you have a tight range here), so agaisn't this opponent there should be more double barreling so when you reach the river you have a larger range so he won't try c/r'ing you as much. |
