I don't exactly know why, but that and the little voice inside my head that said "OMFG I CAN'T FOLD A SET EVEN THOUGH I KNOW I'M BEAT" lead me to call. I wrote the OP to include the fold because if I hadn't, everyone would have assumed that my reason for posting the hand was results oriented. I was hoping for some meaningful discussion (thwarted again). |

Re: Bump, Set, Fold.
Oh, and Ike, I play 2/4 and 3/6 because it's easy, low variance money.
I'm satisfied with my hourly for the time being. I'm happy for you and all your success/glory. |

Re: Bump, Set, Fold.
Bye.
This thread just goes to show that 2+2 is pretty much good for drama bombs, NSFW threads in OOT, and Gambler 2k4 threads in BV. |

Re: Bump, Set, Fold.
I don't mind just calling the flop but I would lead any turn card because a lot of taggy players will check behind on the turn for pot control unimproved. When you lead they almost always call / raise the turn which puts us in a great river spot.
As played, I don't think a fold is nearly as bad as some of you are making it out to be. It's hard though because the only hand that makes any sense that we lose to is KKK, but honestly nothing else makes any sense here. How does he get to the river with a hand he wants to bluff with? He isn't ever value raising worse, so really I think a fold is fine, although I tend to call anyways. For those of you in the call camp, what do you expect him to show up with? |
