Re: $16 - KQ SB
I think that calling and pushing PF are close, it would really depend on the opponent for me. Completely readless I'd probably take a flop. As played I would certainly lead out and push on turn.

[ QUOTE ]
Shoving 14x over a limp is probably pretty thin, taking a flop with KQ is far from bad. [/ QUOTE ] With the limper in play u have an effectively ~8BB. Shoving Pre is not that bad an option but I think you need reads on CO to do this. However readless its quite marginal and taking a flop is the best option. As played shove over his bet on the turn. |

Re: $16 - KQ SB
CO just limping suggests A weak kicker or worse. I think a raise pre flop to 300 is about right. The BB will go out if he has rags and you will get more idea on CO with his call/raise/fold before you see flop.
I just hate getting into a pot with the BB not having been asked a question. After the flop you have a good hand but absolutely no idea about the BB. As played I cannot lay down after the turn. |

Any c-bet will leave me shortstacked if he calls it, and following up on the turn will mean pushing with nothing all too often. |

Re: $16 - KQ SB
Yeah, small raise is without a question the worst play imaginable here.
