Re: WSOP $1500 NLHE Hand – ‘Experts’ Disagree, JJ with 21BBs
Its close and all options except 3 are fine are good against a lot of villains. I'd probably call and get it in on a bunch of flops.

Re: WSOP $1500 NLHE Hand – ‘Experts’ Disagree, JJ with 21BBs
My input was that it was very close between calling and shoving. Both are +EV, I'm quite sure, not sure which is more so though. I think I said call because I like position and stuff.
EDIT: Also, I think I am more likely to call live where I think I'm pretty okay at reading people, especially when they are OOP like this. Online I think I am more likely to jam. |

1, 3 would be fine online but no one 4bet bluffs live poker. [/ QUOTE ] umm no one 4bet bluffs online either when you reraise to half your stack anyway pretty easy shove here, gotta get some value before scare cards/cards that beat you come. |

super standard shove imo, not much to say really. calling and getting it in on most flops is fine too, but why do that when he'll call with worse pf?

4, pop it to like 2k, if he shoves, you can't call at 3-1 as a 4-1 dog.

[/ QUOTE ] Re-raising/jamming makes it easier for an older live player to dump 88-TT/AQ/AJ that he's gonna CB into us. I like respecting an Ace high flop and evaluating a King/Queen high flop while thinking "zomg overpair" after he CB's any other flop. That said, I suck and have had problems folding lately. |

Re: WSOP $1500 NLHE Hand – ‘Experts’ Disagree, JJ with 21BBs
I can't imagine calling this short. If he does C-bet 100% of the time, say 1K into 1.5k pot, we are jamming the flop, so altough we get an extra 1k when we are ahead, we are stacked when behind. (I am only pretty sure here, I am definitely not running any numbers right now, so feel free to prove me wrong)
As Curtains said, any plan including a fold would have to assume this guy isn't pushing AK, which I am never doing in this situation. So jam, it in. Also, trying to get tricky in spots like this is never going to be MUCH better than jamming. Basically, pushing is never a huge mistake, getting tricky could be. |
