I smoke only when I've been DRINKING and feel like playing poker. Playing drunk is obviously bad and pocket 3's look like aces to me. But if I'm drunk, then smoke up and play, i become extremely focused and dont make dumb mistakes

OP,

i focus better when im stoned. sometimes i dont think all my decisions through...i smoke a lot, and the more you do the more comfortable you are doing things while high. this is a matter of person preference. you can post all you want asking about how people play while stoned, but it is completely person dependent.

the beats become easier to take and im able to sit for longer sessions, personally. some people cant focus at all/cant control themselves the same way while stoned, and hence should not be smoking while playing. I am not one of those people. you might be...you need to figure that out for yourself. gl.

dont play high, u ll think wicked slow and not be able to play as many tables and since u ll be thinking slow u ll give off timing tells then wonder if people are playing their hands or playing back at ur delayed actions since ur all high and paranoid


the real answer tho is that u play much worse in the long run after habitual marijuana use. There have been studies that have shown after only a few years a potheads brain will have the same theta wave activity going through it awake as a normal person has during the first stages of sleep!! aka u are thinking half awake. after a decade or two we re talking serious brain damage and we all know the consequences on ur short term memory ( i cant even remember what i was watchin on tv half the time as soon as the commercials come on lol) and of course the dreaded low sperm count.

i still however can not quit despite knowing all this and how much less smart I am than I was in high school.
