You're "missing an opportunity" by not playing at WPEX Greg. I simply can not and will not believe that the majority of players will make more at any other site. Three tables of short handed 3/6 limit has been churning me out $40 - $50 hr in rake back alone. NL looks healthy enough (You're stat selection is not very representative of what I usually see there) though I don't play it and I'm sure it will continue to grow. They are a growing site. You are a darned fool for comparing WPEX traffic to Party traffic. Party didn't become the behemoth it is overnight. This is also a different era when it comes to competition and WPEX is trying their darndest to make a stab at that competition. They've made a very brave move and I'm loyal to them for that.

Furthermore, WPEX does have higher than 200NL. Tables actually go up to 2000NL with healthy traffic at 400NL.

WPEX has a manager that takes the time to address issues with a forum infamous for its "tough love" nature. That and the updates that have already occured should be a sign that they are making a move. I mean come on, how long has it been since the "no rake" model began?

There is more than enough reason to play there now, and without a doubt the site will continue to grow and siphon away players from the greedy giants.

Thats nice, but 1 table of 400 full ring isnt really going to cut it for me. If they brought in 6-max, suddenly there might be two 400 6-max tables and that would allow me to play there permanently.

Please read the post thoroughly before commenting.

The general manager of WPEX compared his own company to "other networks", not me. I did not compare WPEX to Party out of the blue, I was only responding to a specific statement.

Regarding my missing an opportunity, I play NL6max. I do not play full ring. I have sat dozens upon dozens of times at the WPEX tables when they were short, only to have them fill within a very short period of time.

I am only one person, I can get on WPEX or not get on WPEX whenever I want and it doesn't really affect me.

However, WPEX has had several very significant opportunities to increase their player base in the past two months and have not capitalized on them.

That affects WPEX much more than it affects me.

Fred takes the time to put up with us and respond on this board though, so that looks pretty promising.

If all the tables for a level fills up at WSEX, do they open a new one?

Yes, immediately.

They always have a table with zero players. As soon as someone sits, a new empty table opens.

It's a great feature that is hardly being utilized

I use that site to look at the weekly averages.

What? Don't you guys carefully collect and organize your own data on your site's traffic? It's sort of embarassing that the GM would need to go to some third-party website that scrapes the lobby data in order to track his own site's growth.

id rather them work on software problems like adding 6-max and HH to the hard drive than work on population tracking software for their site..

If you want to play 6MAX, start new tables, and leave when they get full.

I do not buy the argument that not having 6MAX negates the advantage of negative Rake.

Yeah, have you tried it?

I have, over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over.

And it never takes long before the table is full.

It's annoying as hell...
