OP, You're gonna get hated on a ton in this thread, but I more or less agree with you. But seriously, how legit did you expect something as commercial as the R&R HOF to be? It's like getting pissed because Wilco didn't win a Grammy or some [censored]. Wrong on all points All, Madonna SUCKS. Having 3 or 4 good singles in no way makes up for a career of talentless cuntery. The Stooges are sorta overrated too imo (among indie nerds who actually take the time to rate them at all), but way better than [censored] Madonna. John Cougar kinda sucks too. I actually don't mind any of those nominees...they all were important artists in their respective genres...although they're really stretching with The Dave Clark Five and Donna Summer.
That's not to say The Stooges shouldn't be on the list, too. Plus, The Cars should be in already.
