3-bet. If good player calls or re-raises, I'm done (although I would make a crying call on the river).

It sure looks like you're beat, but I don't see how you can fold. Pot's too big.

fwiw- I've made calls like this before and had button muck AQ, only to beat dummy's Q8s.

I would call for the horrible dummy factor. Is he stupid enough to have A7 there? Maybe even a weird, flaccid, horribly played AK/J/T? I think the pot is too big to put that much faith in a his actions being logical.

[ QUOTE ]
BTW the fact it's a good player raising you on the turn, IMO INCREASES the fact you should be three-betting the turn, as most good players are not nitty enough to only raise you with hands better than A4 (esp when factoring in idiot cold calling overlay).

Also, as I already told you in IM, I don't fold the river. Why? Cuz it's 2 pair in a big pot -- that's ample reason.

[/ QUOTE ]

I think you should either fold or raise. Fold because you think you are beat or raise because you believe you're ahead of him but don't want the good player to call with a better two pair.

"I don't fold the river"

lmfao easiest fold ever. seriously lololololo i cant type enough ls and os to express how bad this river call is. why play live if you dont use these ultra basic reads to save bets?

as for the turn, yeah 3 bet, all youve represented is an A, there's no reason for him to think you have aces up yet.

100/200

2 players limp, (the 2nd of which is a horrible dummy), I limp next in with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], button (good player) raises, blinds call, we call.

6 to the flop (12sb)of A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
checks to me and i donk, button raises, only the horrible dummy coldcalls.

turn 3 ways for 9bb: 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
check, i donk, button raises, horrible dummy exhales and says "i have to call" and calls two cold, i...... decide to call but i think 3betting is right.

river: 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
horrible dummy now donks. my play?

I folded in disgust. Button called. Horrible Dummy showed Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] and won the dollars.

Mike, when the bad player says, on the turn, "I have to call," and then donks the river, isn't that indication of an already made hand? Bob's ahead of a lot of those.
