Long? It's three paragraphs. Man, if that's long I dread what my 5-chapter epic novel looked like.

Anyway Vig -- I'm pulling for you. If I hadn't just gotten debt-free I would kick in, but I've got my own work to do. Nevertheless, my thoughts are with your family and I hope you guys beat this thing.

Best,
Joker

I'm not an expert, but I'm fairly sure that the government requires that you be allowed to keep your insurance for at least a limited amount of time. There are some exceptions. It's called COBRA insurance. I know when I left one job it was offered to me. It's expensive because you no longer have the employer paying a portion.

It's at least worth looking into. Perhaps, if you can get this coverage temporarly, she could take a full load of classes next semester and get the insurance back permanantly.

Would Pokerstars allow a private tournament with a larger entry fee that would be donated to Vig? Like a $10+5 or $10+10? That could add up really quick.

I think, but I am not sure, if she has not been dropped yet you can get insurance elsewhere and they cannot screw you too badly. I think that it is only if you have a gap in coverage that pre existing conditions really get you, but I could be wrong there.

Edit - also, there should be some charity options open to you if you get screwed on the insurance.

FU DEMENTIA, DIE DIE DIE!!!!!!

I HOPE U ARE BURNING RIGHT NOW!

If on the rare chance that he pays me, I will xfer you 20% of it.

Though i think it will be difficult to get u the money, i can probably send you something in the $50 range if u can tell me a cheap way to get it to you.

also, it would really ease our curiosity and maybe help your case if u told us how much u needed to raise.

Will,

Thanks for the message. I'll send you a PM now. As far as a total we need to raise, it isn't really a set number. It's like $5000 per trip to NY, and she will need to go at least once a month. Also, Sarah just informed me that the $50K a year is if insurance cooperates, lol. Anyway, thanks for the well wishes.

Vig
