You could always break the lease and just pay the fine. the fine at my complex is $150 and I was almost tempted to break my lease this summer over a hot water problem that persisted in my unit.

Ha I didnt catch that.

But yeah I have had people scream at my for turning too fast (ties did squeak). The pavement was brand new and my foot was NOT on the gas. I had my windows down. I stopped which did not take more then 3 feet and put it in reverse. They went inside very quickly.

You're lucky. Most complexes (or a lot at least) make you pay a lot more than $150, more like a month's rent.
