Wasn't paying attention the first time (lol donkaments) and rewatched it. The very first scene clearly illustrates the theme for the rest of the episode. Lyla telling Dexter what to do while having sex with her than after they finish this conversation happens.
Dexter: You really know what you want don't you Lyla: If you don't mind some men do. |

I think Dexter's trying to make it so if they find anything, it'll look like Doakes is trying to frame him. [/ QUOTE ] Interesting. That does make a little more sense than my crazy theory! I think you might be right. I'm anxious to see what happens between Doakes and Dexter. |

On the "Lyla is a pyro" chain of thought:
What if she has killed people in the past by arson? Would Dexter then kill her? |

She told Dexter on the car ride to Naples that she killed her ex bf dealer or whatever w/ fire and knew that was when she hit rock bottom and entered the program. |

I don't get people that can't remember super basic details of shows they've watched. It wasn't in the car ride, it was in the hotel room when Dexter was broken down on her lap crying.

[/ QUOTE ] Obv, this is why I said "people." 1 kill doesnt matter, but if she has killed multiple people through arson then its a problem. |
