Beat: Just found out I have ADD

I'm not sure how you came to determine you have ADD, it sounds like you haven't seen a doctor? Adderall and other type drugs are worth a try, they really really help with concentration on school/poker/anything.

All of you who insist ADD isn't real: forget the diagnosis for a second; do you have anything against people taking a pill that helps them with things they need to do?

Also, for what its worth I'm strongly against the way ADD meds are prescribed to kids, but I've seen kids with SERIOUS ADHD that just couldn't function in life and ritalin really helped them.

learn about meditation and how to focus your mind. two 10 minute sessions per day have helped alot of school age children who before would have just been given drugs. everyone has trouble focusing on things to an extent, some moreso than others, most people really dont have anything worth being diagnosed
