Has anyone else recently felt like they need to be playing less tables? For a long time, until 5-6 weeks ago I would play 6 tables as standard and often 8 or more when the games were soft and I felt sharp. After playing 8+ tables regularly for a while I feel as though my game really deteriorated, or I at least stopped learning new concepts so now Im playing 4 tables most of the time and 5-6 when Im really on it. I feel like Im playing _much_ better as a result and my hourly has stayed nearly tbe same because of a better winrate, although I do get less rakeback, but the benefits of improving are there for the long-term.

Kind of the opposite for me. When I only 4-tabled I felt like I was forcing the action sometimes, being completely overaggressive on lots of unnecessary hands. When I added a couple more tables I felt like I had more work to do folding junk, that kept me preoccupied from getting myself into retarded situations. It could have just been variance though :P
