Amazing how many pitches Hughes throws.

MLB.com's Gameday has his velocity up quite a bit today. His fastballs were 94-95 throughout the first inning. They've had him at 89-92 for the most part in his previous starts, which concerned me since it didn't seem to fit with most scouting reports.

That's interesting. Gameday is usually slower than TV guns. They have the PFX thing going today, which I assume is all camera/computer generated, so I tend to trust that more than most other guns. But 91-92 would make a lot more sense.
