I post regularly in bbv4l. I also graduated with first class honors in political science and have done MA coursework in international relations/political theory at a top-five university. I am also a professional public opinion research consultant (read: pollster). And I avoid the politics forum like the plague. Hint: not because pvn would "pwn me to death".

It's more like "anyone who wants to discuss real politics, real-world issues, and debate ideas intelligently is flamed to death by the AC intellectual circle jerk".

That is very wrong. Flames are rare in Politics. What you mean is that libertarian thought should be excluded because it is unpopular.
