Obviously he thinks Greg is good enough to beat Clark out of the starting job sometime early in the season.

"Greg Olsen will easily score the 6-8 most points for a tight end this year. "

he is a backup TE! How is he going to even score more then Desmond Clark?

[/ QUOTE ]

Olsen will be used in alot of two tight end packages with Clark. He also will be the tight end on passing downs. Olsen will get about 10-15 plays a game as a fullback and will get some swing passes and has better leaping and pass catching ability than Clark and will be used much more in goaline situations.

Plus he will be running TE seam routes in a divison where everybody runs a cover two.

"Greg Olsen is on FA list. Should I drop Droughns for him"

are you insane?

[/ QUOTE ]

id do it

[/ QUOTE ]

wtf, then you have no clue what is going on. Dropping a viable RB option for a 2nd string TE. Good luck winning leagues doing that.

[/ QUOTE ]

#1 I think Greg is gonna be very good
#2 I dont think he is a viable RB, #5 on his depth chart, he can pick up a guy like P. Holmes as a FA who is far more likely to become a viable starter.

[/ QUOTE ]

Droughns is #2 and should get about 35-40% of the carries. Wtf are you talking about?

[/ QUOTE ]

A) Olsen is gonna win the starting job
B) On his fantasy football roster he has Droughns as his 5th rb.
C) He can pick up an undrafted RB such as (my example was Priest Holmes) who has a decent chance at starting if LJ follows through on his holdout, or another backup RB who is looking at 30-40% of the carries.

OK, just got done with my draft, standard Yahoo scoring 12-team full of idiots (read: two QB's and Chad Johnson went in the first, people taking backup D's for bye week purposes hence the Packers was the best I could get), 1QB/2RB/3WR/1TE/1K/1D:

1 Brian Westbrook (10)
2 Reggie Bush (15)
3 Antonio Gates (34)
4 Lee Evans (39)
5 Laveranues Coles (58)
6 Marion Barber III (63)
7 Terry Glenn (82)
8 Matt Leinart (87)
9 Jay Cutler (106)
10 Devery Henderson (111)
11 Ronald Curry (130)
12 Ladell Betts (135)
13 Reuben Droughns (154)
14 Dwayne Jarrett (159)
15 Green Bay (178)
16 Olindo Mare (183)

[/ QUOTE ]

No other opinions apart from "ZOMG what the hell are you doing spewing picking Jarrett?"

People who carry 2 TEs should be shot.

Team with Cedric Benson wants to trade me LenDale White for my Adrian Peterson of the Bears. I make this trade 100% of the time, right?

[/ QUOTE ]

For Peterson to start he needs Benson to get injured, for LenDale to start he needs to beat out the 2 other guys and / or have them get injured.

Most likely have better odds w/ LenDale, dosnt he have a pretty nice chance at beating the other guys out??? I'd do the trade for sure.

[/ QUOTE ]

This may be closer than you guys think. Benson is fumbling a lot which lead to Peterson getting most of the reps with the 1st team this weekend. Benson is the starter, but if he keeps putting the ball on the ground?

In addition, if it is a toss up, I don't let one of my opponents add a handcuff to his roster.

Realized I screwed up the draft order for my 14-team league. Both Rudi and Bush will likely be gone when I pick.
Here's who will be left, cannot keep this pick.
