The ban on black jokes is only in place because it has become such a problem in BBV/4Life. The same thing happened with jewish insults.

When retard/muslim/christian jokes/insults become a problem they will be dealt with accordingly.

There isn't a BBV manual to find a definite answer for how the forums should be run, if something's a problem it can be fixed otherwise it will be left alone.

if someone does something stupid, you can call them a retard, because they acted retarded

I made fun of downies on here and offended someone whos kid is downie a while back. Dude might have just been tryna play me, though, since thats such an unrealistic scenario. In all seriousness, though, there are many things various different people may find offensive. Obviously it would be impossible to cater to all of them.

So I think people have had some time to vent and discuss and now everyone knows what's going on

-ethnic/racial slurs are no no (all slurs, not just the n-word)
-enforcing tone/trying to cut down on flaming
-tempbans will be handed out liberally for this from now on
-this policy will be revisited at a later date pending bbv not being dumb

If people have any more questions or want to complain, take it to ATF (not bbv/bbv4l) or pm myself, Adanthar, or Ryan.
