[ QUOTE ] In season 1, Locke knew it was going to rain because he had been paying attention to the weather patterns on the island. Desmond has full on precognition. [/ QUOTE ] Studying weather patterns and knowing when its gonna rain to the minute? Damn, my local metereologists can't even give me better than 60/40 most of the time and they have satellites, etc. Definitely was Locke's connection witht the island. [/ QUOTE ] or he runs good. |

The lighting on the walls and the tables in the rooms are not the same. [/ QUOTE ] Well yes, clearly...but lighting is easy to change. The table has the same frame, but one has a stainless covering on top of it. But the rooms themselves are the same - don't you agree? The question is why? There is either something to the other posters idea that they are in the same room, or the producers are being very cheap with sets and just going with the idea that every room could look the same, "lets just change the lights". Poor production if thats the case, given how much detail some fans look for in the show. |

[/ QUOTE ] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=55NRlQe8NT8 [/ QUOTE ] Er, uh - SPOILER I GUESS, but is only what's in the preview for tonight's episode. I didn't see anyone mention this, and maybe it's becasue it's just too obvious - but it took me a few viewings of the trailer (and posted images here) to notice it. ************************************************ *********************************************** (SPOILER IN WHITE - though I don't think it's really a spoiler - but if you're set off by the littlest observation, don't read it.) The eyepatch dude has 4 fingers! Heh. Just like the giant foot they saw last season ... |

Re: ***OFFICIAL*** LOST Season 3 Episode 4 Thread -spoiler free-
i am not at all involved enough in the lost stuff to start betting on it, i just think it's an interesting possibility. when jack says, 'who am i here to save?' wouldn't it be great if it turns out it's the one person he can't seem to fix? isn't that a theme for his character so far this season? i think it has merit.

I lost track of what episode we're on, and since it's past noon on wednesday I assumed this 300-post thread was this week's thread.
NT - Jack's tumor is a cool theory. |

[/ QUOTE ] Actually, it's the underlying character flaw for Jack - that he always has to save someone. So you make a good point. I just don't see it going that way. Perhaps we can make a prop bet about your Caps Lock key. |

Re: ***OFFICIAL*** LOST Season 3 Episode 4 Thread -spoiler free-
Just caught Ep 4 tonight. Sorry for the bump.
- Watching Desmond be vaguely creepy in this episode reminded me of what the psychic told Claire about making sure that the "right person" raises her baby, because there were darker forces that wanted it. I had been assuming that Charlie was supposed to be a good influence, so maybe Desmond represents something more sinister? - The only person whose age we learned about this week was Sawyer (who says he is 32, then 35). Could the tumor be in Sawyer's neck (35 is pretty close to "man in his 40s")? Perhaps this is what motivated him to finally go about exacting his revenge against the guy who supposedly ruined his life. Perhaps he is another person who has been "healed" by the island. |
