Red Sox scored 907 equivalent runs this year, Rockies 852.

I also think the Red Sox are going to completely clobber the back end of the Rockies rotation. Red Sox kill guys w/o great stuff who walk a lot of guys.

basically, I don't think the matchups work very well for the Rockies. They have 1 great SP, but Beckett is better. the Red Sox will have the SP advantage in every game they play imo, plus the lineup is better, plus the bullpen is better and deeper.

Morgan is sort of a bummer, but Miller plays a much bigger role on the radio in the snippets I listened to (driving from work to home here on the west coast). It sounds like a pretty awesome getaway. I'm sure it was a ton of fun.

This is a horrible, horrible thread. One of the worst threads I've ever read.

So I feel absolutely no remorse when I add to this thread's unawesomeness by typing the words "Sox in four."

Because this thread is so terrible, this is probably my last post in it, so I'll take this opportunity to make the following observation:

The next person I meet who takes great pleasure in saying "Rox versus Sox" out loud, will be getting stabbed in the eye, by me. These people are everywhere, I can't shake them.

Eventually, the Fox network is going to realize that they have a Rox/Sox/Fox series on their hands. When that happens, I build a cabin in the woods, and start mailing letter-bombs.

Rox tickets onsale in 10 minutes. I'm so torn between trying to pay face value for a game 2000 miles away, or paying up the ass for Fenway at home.

On sale, odds of getting a ticket are so small. I'm really upset they are on sale nation wide. Shoulda sold at box office to ensure a strong Rockie fan presence.
