[ QUOTE ]
If you substitute Gold in for PA in the hand against Farha it is the worst play ever. But because it is PA he is the best cash game player ever [/ QUOTE ] I can't help agreeing with this..., though I know he is a great player and Gold is a terrible player. I can't explain this play though. |

DB: I have the nuts
lol He knew that Jamie wouldn't even understand that this was an insult. DB wins on level 1 and level 2. |

[ QUOTE ] how can farha insta call Pa's all in with the flush draw when his overcards are probably not live. Ok on this occasion they were but generally PA's gonna have aces, kings, queens or a set when he moves all in. Move all in with that KQs there but don't call all in. Farha was in fact favourite but only marginally and profit should come from the fold equity from moveing all in not from a 53/47 coinflip, so he got what he deserved imo when patrick sucked out. [/ QUOTE ] pa bet 20k he raised to 100k... what do you want farha to do there? fold? [/ QUOTE ] Yeah idiot. D'uh you have to protect your children, raising and then folding, its just stupid. Its like giving money away. |

Karma works in funny ways;
Gold sucked out on PA to win 2/3 as an underdog in their big pot, then donated much of it to Farha, then PA wins 3/4 against Farha as a slight dog. Thus the money returned to PA in a roundabout way! |

If Sammy shoves over DB's raise and they get it all in for a million $ pot with set vs straightflush, how many times are they running the river? Or does DB just tell Sammy they will play for what the pot was after the flop, and he can take his turn bet/raise back?

You people are such PA ball lickers.... If you substitute Gold in for PA in the hand against Farha it is the worst play ever. But because it is PA he is the best cash game player ever. I bet if you asked him the moment Farha insta-called him he was thinking to himself he was the worst and how do I get [censored] stains out of my pants. PA is seen as crafty aggro smart. meaning he may get better hands to fold very often. on the other hand, nobody is folding an overpr to jamie in this spot so it would make it a retarded play by him. |

Re: High Stakes Poker thread (11/26 - 500k buyin pt 4 - Spoilers all o
DB must be a genius. Sure he's a great player, but it goes beyond that.
But somehow, he has tricked Jamie Gold in a special way. For some odd reason, Jamie has taken it upon himself to prove to David that he can be a great bluffer, and so everytime a bluffing opportunity arises, Jamie can't help but hurl chips in David's direction. Of course, DB is good humored about the whole thing. He even compliments Jamie on his bluff with 83o when David only had like 9 or T high or whatever, which of course wasn't a great bluff, but you could tell that it really did stroke Jamie's ego. All the while in other hands, David continues to fleece Jamie, and Jamie couldn't be happier about it. Genius. Sheer genius. |
