I posted that after 9 batters, right before Ellsbury reached. Coincidence?

[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] Got to be objective. Yankees are a better team right now. Will that change when we get Manny back? I don't think so, I think they will still have the edge. We might have to back door this one and hope Anaheim takes them out for us in the playoffs. [/ QUOTE ] Yankees are a better team in a short series; they are very explosive. In a 7 game series, the Red Sox can beat anyone with their pitching and Manny in the lineup up will surely help. [/ QUOTE ] Why do you think the Red Sox pitching is better than any of the other teams in the AL playoffs? Of course the Red Sox *could* win a 7-game series agianst anyone in baseball, but you can't really think they'd be a favorite over the Yankees in a 7-gamer right now, can you? |

[/ QUOTE ] If everyone's healthy, and Boston has home-ice, then I'd certainly make Boston the favorite in a seven-game series. Not a big favorite by any means. I'd probably open it at -120 and EV. It would be higher, if the public wasn't so fond of the legend of the NY Yankees. (That's not the Sox Fan in me talking, but the old school oddsmaker.) |

[/ QUOTE ] I called him a douche then posted reasons why (chucking two straight at the head of Youkilis being the #1 reason why). You posted a 10 page picture of Frank "Big 'always' Hurt" Thomas in a Red Sox thread after he hit 3 HRs against us tonight. You and Nutshot are routinely some of the worst posters in the Yankees thread...really do you have down's syndrome? At least I ragged on you in my own house though so gtfo |

One team(Sox) are limping to the finish line and the other(Yankees) are cruising. But I'll defer to you in setting lines, don't know the first thing. |

Re: *official 2007 red sox thread*
I think the big part here is assuming everyone (particularly Youkilis and Manny) is completely healthy.
