The response I received from Party:

[ QUOTE ]
Dear Michael,

With regard to your query, please be informed that we consider
prevailing exchange rate, which you can check by visiting the website
http://www.xe.com.

Whenever you initiate a transaction at our website we consider current
exchange rate prevailing in the market. So exchange rate might differ as
per the market rate.

If you have any questions please contact us, we are available 24 hours a
day, 7 days a week to assist you.

Please provide us with a feedback on how you find our services by

My response to Party:

[ QUOTE ]
Greg,

I refer to your email where you falsely claimed that you use the
exchange rate from xe.com

I have attached a screenshot that proves that you are lying and/or
misleading me in your email.

I understand that your company needs to make a profit, and as a poker
player, I am willing to pay the rake and/or tournament fees for you to
run poker games. However, I think it is wrong that you take
additional money from me for currency transactions - currency
transactions that are not part of your core business, and currency
transactions that take an excessive amount of money from me.

Can you please fix this?

regards,

Michael

[/ QUOTE ]

Their response:

[ QUOTE ]
Dear Michael,

Thank you for contacting us.

We apologize for the miscommunication from our end. We understand your
concern regarding the exchange rate. However, we convert the funds based
on the exchange rate provided by our bank. As the buying and selling
rates are not same, you find a difference in the converted amounts. The
rate that is applied when you initiate a deposit/cashout is based on the
prevailing rate at the time of the transaction.

If you feel that your bank would provide you with a better exchange
rate, we suggest that you deposit and cashout by selecting the
“transaction currency” as USD.

If you have any questions please contact us, we are available 24 hours a
day, 7 days a week to assist you.

Sincerely,

Komal

[/ QUOTE ]

My response:

[ QUOTE ]
Dear Komal,

Clearly, it is untrue to say that you use the exchange rates provided
by your bank - Greg gave me the web address of them, and I went there
and they were different to what you used.

This is proved by the screen shot that I sent to you.

PLEASE STOP LYING TO ME!

PLEASE STOP CHEATING ME WITH A BAD EXCHANGE RATE!

regards,

Michael

Party upgrade :

-now the lobby is popping up together with waiting list window
-big fat "total pot" letters in the centre of teh table

Two annoying changes without even asking their players.
I hate Party.
