There is zero chance MLB owners allow cuban to buy the cubs with his NBA record of commissioner baiting and reckless spending. MLB is too old school and all of the small market teams are deathly afraid of giving the cubs a dedicated, intelligent owner.

There is zero chance the cubs can float a $200m contract after committing to $400m over last year and right before or during an ownership change.

There is zero chance ARod takes another big contract from another sad sack organisation. He was ready to tear up his deal to get out of Texas, he will choose a proven committed winning organisation.
