All - I'm from the UK but, and don't kill me here , but I've never played on Party. Don't worry. I don't forgive myself. However, I'm seriously considering it. I have found iPoker Network the softest on teh interwebs but maybe that's because I haven't played on Party yet.

FWIW I play 2/4NL 6-max. Should I be dumping some roll into Party, like, 5 mins ago?

Is there anything I should know regarding cashing out?

Thanks in advance for any light you can shed on what to expect from Party. I haven't even downloaded the software ever so...a Party for Dummies mini-guide would be helpful. TY.

iPoker 2/4 is prob softer than Party 2/4 imo, but there are always lots of games and sometimes the biggest fish ever come along. the games on party are definitely more aggro, so it might depend on what suits your style better and how well you can adjust. The software takes some getting used to and isn't spectacular but it's ok, especially if you go to the software forum and get a betpot script.

Thanks DLizzle. So basically right now I only play FTP and iPoker but the obvious general conclusion is that;

iPoker > Party > FTP/Stars etc??? in terms of standard of play...

Can anyone confirm whether opening a USD bank account would make a difference? I think I read either in this thread or a different one that they still [censored] you even if you have a USD bank account.

no, they dont [censored] you if you have a usd bank account.

If u do a wire transer into a USD account it should work. I did it a few months ago when they wouldn't give me US cheques anymore.

I think the general consensus is that Party and FT are pretty similar.

We should write out a template email of complaint and every one of us send it to Party about the currency rates.

One issue at a time would be better imo. the currency rate is different in that they are actually screwing us over. Other issues are just feature requests

this is true, very frustrating for multitabling, i try to stay away from them. In regards to the FT/Stars/Party/iPoker comparison, FT Stars and Party are pretty similar, as people have been said Party has tougher regulars but worse donators, but it's really not a huge difference. iPoker is a totally different style of play generally from the others, with less preflop reraising and generally more passive play.
