hinske gets an assist for that last run, posada was completely shellshocked and never even attempted a tag, just blocked the plate and held the ball up as if he got run over again

yeah, it wasn't until after the commercial break that I realized ellsbury missed the plate initially. I thought he got under him right away. The replay made Posada look worse.

edit: also, McCarver has twice mentioned what a "good looking player" Jacoby is. I actually think he's attracted to him (he is rather handsome).
