Before David and I started dating, I used to date loads of guys at the same time; I'd always end things because I didn't want to sleep with them and that's what guys expect after a certain number of dates. I really think the cute-getting to know you-still nervous when you call-stage is the most fun part of dating. I loved being able to say I was going out with so and so on Friday and a different so and so on Saturday and when they asked about the following weekend to say I already had a different date...some girls really aren't looking for commitment either.

edit: this was high school...for some reason i feel like dating is regional. when i come home for summers i always end up going on tons of dates (although now they are not dates they are me going to the movies with a member of the opposite sex who knows i have a boyfriend but for some reason wants to take me to the movies anyways which is fine by me cause ten dolla is a lot of money), but at school, pre-david, there wasn't a lot of official 'dating'. different strokes for different coasts?
