Did I miss anyone?

Walt told Michael he hated him / you're not my father lots of times

[/ QUOTE ]

Duh. It was so obvious I forgot it. Plus they've been off the show for over a year. Hey, what about Eko? Is all we know of his dad that he was kidnapped by the gunmen when he was a kid and never really knew his parents? Only his brother?

And Ana Lucia -- her mom was a cop, but what about her dad? Non-existant? Claire... we see her fighting with her mom right? What about her dad? Juliet's parents never came into play; just her ex-husband. Boon and Shannon -- they were not real brother and sister, but I can't remember the dad thing; I think Boon hated him for some reason. Shannon's dad was rich or something. Charlie? Sayid?

[/ QUOTE ]

Yep. I think it's pretty obvious that this is a major theme for the show and may very well become an important issue.

Jacob's a basically invisible guy in a cabin in the woods who Ben needs for some reason, but who doesn't necessarily need Ben if someone else can interact with him. He also don't like flashlights.

1. Is he dead, undead or just busted up to invisibility?
2. Is he trapped? If so, is it to keep him from disappearing, to keep him separate from something/someone/smoke monster, or to keep him safe?
3. What happens if you visit him in the daylight?
4. I want to make sweet love to Sun.

I am extremely disappointed that Jacob turned out to be this telekenetic spirit thing. That's all I have to say this week.

It says something about this show that he could just as easily have been George Soros on a monitor in a bunker but "hey the end of season 2 knocked out our communication with him so I've been making it up."

Also, Annie either

A) died while pregnant like every other woman subjected to the island's supersperm;

B) died while pregnant like every other woman subjected to the island's supersperm; or

C) died while pregnant like every other woman subjected to the island's supersperm

I think with the importance that they placed on Anne throughout the episode in the development of Ben, that she wont be dead, but either part of the "new dharma" or trapped against her will...

i havent read the whole thread because i am hate reading all of the "sick" and "wows" that go along w/ these threads when people watch along w/ the show so im not sure if this has been mentioned.

there was actually someone sitting in the chair. he wasnt invisible.

the person was an old man w/ stringy, long hair. he was visible for a few frames, when ben ran over to the chair. i didnt notice him at first but my wife did so we watched the scene over in slow-mo. he's hard to see but he's quite visibly there.
